Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Sen. Chris Van Hollen clashed during a heated Senate hearing on the 2026 State Department budget. Van Hollen said he regretted confirming Rubio, prompting a sharp retort from Rubio:

So how long do they have to detain those already with final orders? If, as per this article, they have room for only 0.5% of 1.4M now, then with a 48-hour hold they theoretically could have them out 400 days. Quadruple that capacity, as they suggest, and that would be 100 days.

I remember in 2016 reading there was swimming pool images supposedly of Rubio at a gay foam party in Miami. I checked out the only image supposedly showing Rubio. However, what I saw was no proof it was Rubio. Without clear evidence, I doubt I even speculated, nine years ago, that Rubio was gay.
Seeing Rubio's family of four kids and absolutely gorgeous wife, Jeanette, there is clear evidence there is no gay blade present.
Watched the whole 11 minutes. Van Hollen’s time was up and he knew it. Chairman Risch should have been more aggressive.

This is the minimum that should have happened to Van Hollen. It seemed like there was a Democrat as chairman.
Nancy Pelosi would probably have found a way to have Van Hollen removed from that committee.
If you remember 2016 HONESTLY, you remember the groupthink around here being that Sen. Rubio was less than pond scum.
If you know how to use the search features on this forum, you can look up things like “little marco” or “rubio foam” or something similar and make your little list that you’d love to see from your own observations.
Do your own homework.
Little Marco has grown up.
He has stopped ridiculing the size of his opponent’s hands.
