No word on soda offerings, but worth noting that in Europe and several other countries: Coca Cola & PepsiCo affiliated soft drinks contain pure cane sugar instead of HFCS.

Even before Trump, sugar has had tariifs in the U.S., so imported sugar is taxed, but (until now) imported soda from Mexico, not so much, which is a main reason why Mexican Coke usually has real sugar.
The U.S. has lots of corn, and incentives to use it. HCFS is liquid, which makes mixing and transporting more straightforward.

That means no more Heinz ketchup, notorious for using high fructose corn syrup.. Heinz ingredients:
tomato concentrate from red ripe tomatoes, distilled vinegar, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, salt, spice, onion powder, and natural flavoring,
Great, John Kerry and his trophy wife are sad...
Trader Joe’s’ ketchup actually tastes just as good with no high fructose corn syrup.

We use very few processed foods, primarily because of all the added artificial ingredients. My two grandkids like making our own gummies

Heinz Organic is sweetened with cane sugar as is Heinz Simply Tomato, Heinz No Salt, Heinz Blend of Veggies and Heinz No Sugar has Stevia.
I think they will be just fine.

In South Africa and Mexico too.
The cokes in South Africa are MUCH better than the garbage they sell here.

No one will force you to do so.

When reading the headline, I thought the worse outcome. I was afraid they were going to change the ingredients in their spread used in their hamburgers since 1948 and use less tomato and onion to reduce costs.

I’ve never seen one ‘in the wild’ so I looked up their locations. Apparently they are only in a few mountain and pacific time zone locations, mostly in the south.

It reminds me of some years ago when my mother went into a fast food place and learned of menu changes. She asked about them. The manager said “no maam, we aren’t changing our recipe, we are improving it!” It sucked after that and she stopped going.

How ‘bout frying those bland fries in beef tallow?

My understanding is that the Coca-Cola Co uses HFCS only in North America...Eeverywhere else in the world, it’s real sugar.,
To: jonrick46
Yep, I’ll continue using Heinz - I’m not going to eat crappy ketchup just to punish a guy who’s a nutcase (albeit still quite dangerous). Personally, we go with no-sugar version - absolutely no difference in taste. They’ve nailed it!
