@RandPaul
I'm not afraid to make the tough decisions, even if it means I'm standing alone.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
This explains his recent actions. He's highlighting these credentials maybe as part of a run for higher office.
Some will like it, some won't.
So is he saying “Everyone in Congress could be wrong except for me”?
Midget Man won’t be standing alone....he’ll have a cadre of DEMS and RINOs backing him up.
Trump should hammer this little flake until he starts to cry.
He’s going to run as some maverick in a few years
It’s risky what he’s doing
He’s a solid Republican politican, who has suffered a LOT to stay in politics. Including several attempts at his very life!
His damaged lung was in need of surgery after being assaulted by a crazy left wing neighbor. He was within vicinity of Steve Scalise when Scalise was shot at the Congress baseball game. Among other close call instances...
Governor Sarah Palin’s endorsement took him over the edge when he first started running for Senate...
His father, Ron, has been an instrumental in shaping MAGA despite some profound ideological departures with Trump...
Sometimes I worry that Rand has too much of a personal grudge against Trump, with MAGA actually but...overall, principle has seemed to triumph in his world more than corruption...
This is the problem with these idealistic perfectionists.
He thinks he’s so right on every issue that he can’t look at the bigger picture involving a closely split Congress and the opportunity to take advantage of a strong Republican president.
‘Politics is the art of the possible.’
— Bismark
Rand doesn’t care about what is possible. He could help the GOP gain a victory 80% of the time, but he’s too cool for that! He needs to be right 100% of the time. Which is one reason we lose so very much. A lot of things become impossible if people like Rand refuse to seize the possibilities.
Yes he’s pimping for the big office fail will ensue.
He’s turned into a yes boy for the power people.
There, fixed it.
I think he’s trying to carve out a niche for himself
Let’s face it, we may have hated McCain but the GOP picked him nearly twice. It worked for him being the maverick.
Problem is if you don’t stand with your party you are effectively standing with the liberal democrats!
I had to check which party Rand Paul currently belongs to.
AI says he is a Republican.
I could see him making the case for belonging to either Republican or Libertarian.
Rand was born to the breed of Independence or Libertarianism, growing up as one of Ron Paul’s sons, raised in the Episcopalian Church.
He stands out in his field.
I’d say he’s more Indy but so are a third of American voters
That’s exactly what I was going to post, though not nearly as eloquently.
Except in this case he is not right.
