Do I trust Mother Government?

If you think I do, you haven’t been paying attention to my posts and opinions. ;)

Nope! Not so far in my lifetime, but President Trump gives me hope for a brighter future. MAGA!

I trust that we need to watch them like hawks.

Any government is a bureaucracy. A bureaucracy is not a friend of liberty or the individual. The bigger the bureaucracy grows the less friendly it becomes until it is a headless monster lurching along stuffing it maw with hapless citizens who are under the delusion that "surely reasonable people can come to an agreement". The fact is that while there may be reasonable people in the bureaucracy, they do not run it. No one really runs it. It is far to big and unwieldy for anyone to do so. And so no one is responsible.

And that is why it is dangerous.
