It is just so wrong that some group grades geographies on how well they comport with the group’s idea of good governmence, education, healthcare systems, etc.—and then that group deems the highest scorers as the happiest.
here is $2 to take a survey. Are you happy?
Another yes......................
The postmarked ballots for Chicago are just starting to arrive. Much too early to declare a winner.
Come to our N GA country. Happy place, believe me.
Atlanta and surrounding area? Nope.
Being the happiest t*** in the urban dung pile isn’t that impressive.
Lol. You will be happy in Singapore... OR ELSE!
Paris was also a very happy city...a week before Poland got invaded.
I would note, there’s a strong work ethic in those countries.
I was just there. Singapore is not really a country.
Its a place that sends products between China and the US without the US trade laws. It is a country that trucks in Malaysians to work in the day, then trucks them out at night. Singapore exists between the trade laws. And between the slavery laws. Its the rich people of Asia without the poor people. They are not doing anything right, other than allowing businesses and billionaires a safe haven like Monaco or the Caymans or numerous other small country havens for the rich.
Been to Zurich and Bern. No way I would live in either place.
Singapore is an open slavery country. The hot and humid weather wouldn’t make you happy. One place you want to avoid.
What do they have in common I ask myself. No democrats.
Lived in Zurich area for 1-1/2 years. If one can ignore the outrageous costs of living there, it’s a nice place. But the cost of living there is way too high.
Best thing about Zurich is the Lindt Chocolate tour.
And the question is..... Would you rather live in Singapore with its beauty, safety and security or New York City with its crime and corruption?
Of the three cities mentioned, Singapore is the one that isn’t obviously doomed.
Had a wonderful week in and near Singapore decades ago. As a world traveler, Singapore ranked as one of my fave places to visit. Immaculate, very nice people, wonderful stores. But the “Singapore Sling” drink is overrated.
WTF has happened to that very nice place?
,,, I’ve only been to Taipei and Copenhagen once... in and out of Singapore and Zurich multiple times, with varying times on the ground. I can’t imagine the combination of air pollution and the thought of China’s aspirations for Taiwan driving happiness there to that measure.
Nice thing is you are compensated for your work there. Sure, you pay taxes but the salary could be 250 thousand euro and still can live nicely on 125 thousand euro with few bills.
