What AI program wrote that piece?....”the average American drinks 2-3 cups of coffee...”...uh ..per what time period?
The highest COFFEE intake is 380mg? I think AI meant to write..highest CAFFEINE intake is 380mg...per day, per cup, what?
A cup of coffee is 12, 16, or 20 oz. Is 20 oz..1.7 times 12 oz..so 20 oz is 1.7 cups of coffee? Author(?) then mentions that “if you have an 8 oz. Cup of coffee”...so now a cup of coffee is 8 oz?
Caffeine overdose is 500mg...per day? Per single intake?
Left out the fact that side effects of caffeine can be heart palpitations, racing heart rate, and even seizures if enough is given.
Overall...one of the most poorly written and ignorant bit of information I have ever seen.
P.S. I agree with you that watching people wait 10-20 min. In their idling car for drive up coffee at Starbucks is the epitome of chemical addiction.
I make “cowboy” coffee if I need it. Much cheaper and less time spent waiting in line.
Three measures of whether we are in a depression...if we are in a depression, no one drinks boutique coffee, no one takes vacation in a foreign destination, and very , very, few will gamble.
Almost none of these coffee articles ever points out that probably ALL coffee producers define a “cup” as SIX ounces.
Coffeeholic is an offensive name and therefore hate speech. With that duly noted coffee in the morning with Baileys (Carolanns is the same but cheaper) is the way to start the day. Two if needed. By 3 PM coffee with bourbon to get it up on its hind legs to keep me going. And of course an after supper coffee with whatever you’re in the mood for.
Coffee e enemaswere a treatment for overdose in the distant past.
