Nonsense. Zelensky nor Putin are necessary for talks to begin. They are only necessary when talks progress.
That is the way wars are settled.
In fact, Zelensky is a comic that plays piano with his penis. He's nowhere near the best Ukraine can do when it comes to negotiating.
Zelensky just said he's only sending representatives out of respect to Trump. If he really gave a damn about peace, he wouldn't have had to begrudgingly send in representatives for peace talks.
