While this is still a very long time away, it’s a drastic revision from previous estimate of of 10 to the power of 1,100 years, explains CBS News.

We’ve lost miles of coastline, there is no polar ice, all the polar bears are dead, island after island has disappeared under the ocean, and we are continually pounded by Cat 5 hurricanes and horrific tornadoes - the likes of which mankind has never seen.
