Ours limits us to 1,000 a day at ATMs much less then Spain.
Don’t put it in the bank in the first place and you won’t have that problem............

I think that is probably bank teller money, not atm money.
That would definitely be a big problem here. I hate when they write a title that isn’t what it seems.
They aren’t talking about ATMs. They mean you cannot walk into the bank and withdraw that amount. Your ATM may have a daily limit, but you can walk into a branch and get what you want... bearing in mind if you ask for 25,000, 50,000 etc... there might be a delay based on how much cash they have on hand in those denominations.
But there is no legal impediment to such a withdrawl beyond the reporting requirement the bank has.

And Santander bank is here and owned by the spanish. Terrible bank.
And the santander bank down the street as i was waiting to close the account a 90+ year old vet walked in and wanted to withdrawal a small amount of money. Couldn’t do it without his phone. Phone? really? They even had to do some goofy phone verification for me to close the account. Had to use google browser which i do not use. What a piece of crap bank.
I have mine under the tool shed in the back in a sealed vault.
Do those regs also apply to the Muslim invaders they let in?
