Doctors discovered a “small nodule” in former President Joe Biden’s prostate during a recent physical exam, it has been revealed.
“In a routine physical exam a small nodule was found in the prostate which necessitated further evaluation,” a spokesperson told ABC News.
It remains too early to tell how serious the medical scare may be.
The 82-year-old’s spokesperson declined to reveal any additional information about his treatment, according to the New York Times.
Prostate issues are common among octogenarian men such as Biden, who left the White House in January as the oldest serving president in US history.

I work in Life/Health insurance reading medical records. I’ve read the same thing too many times. If you are male and are lucky enough to hit an advanced age, you very likely have prostate cancer. It’s just that it grows so slow at that age, you’ll die of just about any other cause.

Yes, the approximate risk of having at least a microscopic focus of prostate CA mirrors a man’s decade of life. For example, a 60 year old man has around a 60% chance of having prostate cancer if you took out his prostate and did a thorough microscopic analysis. The prevalence of clinically detectable or symptomatic prostate CA is much lower, however.
