It is so much fun watching Trump lay with them like a cat with a mouse.

The cup holders are in the tables. The interior isn’t very impressive. I expected better.

So the current Air Force One will become
Air Force Two

Nice, but it doesn’t have the communications equipment or electronic counter measures or in-flight refueling capabilities that the presidential jet needs.

Never mind, it’s not meant to replace AF-1.

They should fire their interior decorator. Books and book cases?

It’s a gift for after Trump leaves office. But my guess is that he will turn it down as the operating expenses are much higher than his 767, which just completed a major overhaul within the last year IIRC.

It has a weird early ‘70’s look to me. I kept looking for the bean-bag chairs.

So Boeing is no longer able to make Presidential Jets?

Exactly, it will never replace AF1. It would require massive rebuilding—huge communication systems additions, redesign for air refueling capability, many defensive measures added, complete interior redesign to mention a few.

34 minutes ago: President Donald Trump said he will donate the luxury plane Qatar is expected to gift his administration to his presidential library after leaving office, dismissing concerns of a potential conflict by insisting the plane is a gift to the Department of Defense and not him personally.

This is the grubbier view of the plane. Other articles show the fancier parts.

Art is in the eye of the beholder. Wouldn’t be my style but I’m fine with those who see it as art. Spoken as someone who built a sink and vanity out of a 19th century carved fireplace mantle. Tastes just differ widely.
