Hmm...100K miles is more than the circumferences of Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars put together. The only planet that number fits is...yes...Uranus. Make of that what you will.

Years ago I knew a guy who hired a bunch of friends of mine to put 100,000 miles each on three brand new cars. I think they were testing the shocks.
The cars were on the road 24/7 for a couple months.
I think they had to stay in the state of Michigan.

60 feet wide is enough. For decades we've had these neat devices with "FRONT TOWARD ENEMY" lettered on them that do a fine job. They're cheap, quickly replaceable, the wildlife gets nourished and those injured in the side zones will delay the rest. Winning!

Making the border a “military zone” i.e. restricted territory,, was a stroke of genius. Anyone crossing the border is automatically trespassing on a military base.

Reminds me in "Landman" when they allowed the military to do maneuvers on their property that the cartel was infiltrating. It ended spectacularly.
