Not sure the veracity of this report, but there’s a reason Tillis doesn’t want Martin as US Attorney and this is as good a reason as any. Could be an opportunity to pull an Eric Adams here. You vote how we tell you and you don’t get prosecuted when your term is up in 2026.

You’re missing the point. It’s not liberals, they love what Tillis is doing in obstructing Ed Martin. This is conservatives highlighting possible ethicsl and tax evasion issues with Tillis as a potential reason why Tillis is obstructing the Ed Martin nomination.
