The Kremlin said on Wednesday that Russia was doing everything necessary to ensure the security of upcoming events to mark the victory of the Soviet Union and its allies in World War Two after a series of attempted Ukrainian drone attacks on Moscow.
The centerpiece of the commemorations - a military parade on Moscow’s Red Square - is due to be held on Friday and the Kremlin has said it is expecting 29 world leaders to attend, including Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Moscow’s mayor Sergei Sobyanin said earlier on Wednesday that Russian air defense forces had downed 14 Ukrainian drones overnight, as Kyiv targeted the Russian capital for the third consecutive day.

Peskov said Russia was doing all it could to ensure the security of the commemorative events.
“All necessary measures are being taken by our intelligence services and our military to ensure that the celebration of the Great Victory is held in a calm, stable and peaceful environment,” he said.
Asked how Russia would respond to the attempted drone strikes, Peskov said that a Russian proposal for a three-day ceasefire with Ukraine around the celebrations was still in force.
The Kremlin has said it will abide by the ceasefire itself, but respond if Ukraine attacks.

I can only imagine the damage to US Interests Ukriane will accomplish with an attack on Moscow while the Chinese leader is there. This would ensure that Moscow and China jointly align on both nation’s security threats, e.g., the USA.
Every attack on Russia has only resulted in men joining the armed forces to end the threat from Ukraine.

Russia has reached a tippinig point where they have made PUBLIC OPINION IN UKRAINE so strong that Ukraine has an average of 18,000 deserters who never return to duty every month; Ukraine public opinion within the armed forces has reached the point where 100,000 men have deserted in six months according to Official Ukrainian Records. Those numbers are actually higher. They do not reflect the men who are captured by Kiev and shanhhai’ed back to the trenches to die. Coupled with Ukraine losing 30-45,000 KIA a month and it is evident Ukraine cannot mobilize nor win the war. The average man on the street or in the trench is voting with their feet.
Kiev must pay you a bonus for your propoganda contributions. Bandara and his Nazi ilk who cherish their WWII Nazi history today are not made up. That Obama/CIA and MI6 elevated the Nationalistic Nazi Party (Bandara’s) to power is horrible twist of history. That Britian had 11 AZOV fighters in their WWII Victory celebration is a travesty. The West has gone Facist; Trump reversed that trend in the US, but the EU and individal states in the EU are banning political candidates, parties, and in many cases using Lawfare to prosecute them as was done with Trump.
