A Republican poll obtained exclusively by the Houston Chronicle show Cornyn is down against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton among likely GOP primary voters by 17 percentage points. A Democratic poll shows him down more than 20 percentage points.
State Sen. Paul Bettencourt, R-Houston, said it’s time for someone to have a serious talk with Cornyn about whether he really wants to go through with another campaign that could quickly turn negative and costly.
“If I was an incumbent senator with these types of polling numbers, I probably wouldn’t run because you can’t win,” Bettencourt said.
Cornyn has said he's not afraid of a primary against Paxton or anyone else. His campaign issued a similar statement Wednesday touting his easy primary victories over the decades and said he is “110% committed to running a vigorous reelection campaign.”

Cornyn doesn’t have a chance of winning. Most Maga voters hate his guts. He’s a mealy mouth, milk toast kind of guy that you can always depend on to do the wrong thing. He is a waste of a valuable Senate seat.

There are other great choices to replace Blondi.
Your impatience with Bondi is understandable, but I am willing to give her more time. When putting together a lawsuit, the huge advantage a plaintiff, or the prosecution, has is the ability to determine the date of filing. This is critical, because once a case is filed, it is (usually) subject to rigid schedule. If you wait to file until you have all of your evidence and witness in perfect order, then you will not be behind the ball , running to catch up, as the defendant will be.
