I thought they only had alligator attacks in Florida.
I live basically city life. You probably enjoy outdoor life of hunting more. Beach does get mundane quickly.
Bear fatality PING !
Grizzly are much further North and West.
We have rethought our fascination with living on/near the beach full time. I’m from there, and parts of me would love to move back to my home state. Alligators and bears are at the top of my *cons* vs *pros* list.
Tell your wife, it often looks like the grass is greener on the other side. Here’s the truth. The grass is just green, not greenER.
You can go to the beach as often as you’d like. It’s still less expensive to live where you currently live. Why not try renting for a few months (in the heat of the summer) and see if it still floats her boat?
There’s a reason why snowbirds go back to the North. They don’t really want to live there ALL YEAR LONG.
I say this as a native who has tons of family down there. My whole family is still there, and I miss them, but I think I’m only going back for visits.
Good, but that doesn’t fix the gator [and other toxic critter] problems.
No way am I moving to a place that is, on average, 12 ft. above sea level.
Sand should be readily available.
Ersatz Palms are likely available at some price......
I’d go for the simulation....
Can’t stand bears. Poor man and dog. Not a good way to go.
Lots of Sand...
For my EX.
Yes, only black bears just like in GA but they are very unpredictable.
I’m sorry but Florida has BEARS?!
Had our first bears of the year 26 April, sow and 2 cubs about a year old .last years cubs. Had 2 show up again last night. Beautiful animals and fun to watch.
Sounds like a movie.:)
what set off the bears to attack?
Hunger ,,,after a Good Hibernation.
.
I’m always cranky till my morning coffee.
