This just confirms that people have no idea of how an economic system works. History is strewn with the wreckage of Socialism. It has been tried in hundreds of failed experiments over time, from New Harmony to modern-day Venezuela. Yet, here are the idiots with enough hubris to think they are smarter than those who previously tried and failed. Capitalism may not be perfect, but it has created the highest standard of living of any alternative that been tried in human existence. Two-thirds of the world’s population would gladly trade places with the poorest 1% of the population in the US.
