There is no such thing as a “white” or “black” race,
Among “Caucasians”, you have very dark skinned Tamils, brown Semites and north Indians, Iranians, Levantines and Greeks/southern Italians.
Among Africans you have multiple races: with the Bantu speaking west africans being genetically different from the Ethiopian,- Somali East Africans and both being utterly different genetically from the Khoi San peoples of Southern Africa.
In fact the Bantu are closer to us caucasians genetically than they are to Khoi San / Bushmen

Skin color, often used to define “whiteness,” is influenced by a tiny fraction of genes (e.g., MC1R) and varies continuously across populations due to environmental adaptations, not distinct racial boundaries.
Historically, “white” emerged as a category in the 17th-19th centuries, tied to European colonialism, slavery, and social hierarchies. It’s been fluid—groups like Italians or Irish weren’t always considered “white” in the U.S. until social assimilation shifted perceptions. Census data and legal definitions (e.g., the “one-drop rule”) further show race as a product of cultural and political choices, not objective science.
So, biologically? No clear “white race.” Socially? It exists as a construct with real impacts, but its boundaries are blurry and context-dependent.
Similarly biologically, there’s no “black race”—just continuous human variation.
