Tesla CEO Elon Musk is obsessed with America’s falling birth rate. In 2019, he predicted that “the biggest problem the world will face in 20 years is population collapse.” Just last month, he told Fox News it’s the main thing that “keeps him up at night.” And according to an April 15 report in the Wall Street Journal, Musk is personally using in vitro fertilization (IVF) to sire what he has described as a “legion” of children — at least 14 so far, with four different women — “before the apocalypse.”
“Low birth rates will end civilization,” the billionaire warned last week on X (which he owns).
Musk’s preoccupation is so intense — and his sway with President Trump so strong — that the White House is now reportedly considering various right-wing “pronatalist” policies to incentivize and encourage more births: $5,000 lump-sum “baby bonuses” for every American mother after delivery; government-funded programs to educate women on their menstrual cycles so they can better understand when they are able to conceive; even a “National Medal of Motherhood” for women with at least six children.
"Sounds like a good idea to me," Trump said Tuesday when asked about the possibility of a federal baby bonus.
But do everyday Americans share Musk and Trump’s concern?
Not really, according to a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll. The survey of 1,597 U.S. adults, which was conducted from April 25-28, shows that only 8% of them say they’re “very worried” — and just 32% say they’re worried at all — about the U.S. birthrate falling “significantly over the past 20 years."
In contrast, nearly six in 10 Americans (59%) say they’re “not very worried” (30%) or “not worried at all” (29%).

California voted for Prop 187 in 1994 by a 60 / 40 margin. It would have ended ALL public money for illegal aliens including schooling. ONE FEDERAL JUDGE, Mariana Pfaelzer, overruled it. It was supposed to be appealed to the SCOTUS where it would have been almost certainly found Constitutional. Gray Davis ran for Governor by saying he “was not a judge” and wouldn’t stop it...he lied. He took it to the 9th Circuit Courts Arbitration service and with the La Raza Racists on the other side of the table, they all shook hands and shit canned the Vote of the People.
It’s absolutely true that Californians voted in a lot of garbage. But when it came down to being an American state or not, they voted right. But traitor Davis sided with the foreign trash to nullify our vote, and his party is still doing that.

The census data you’re reading was likely dead on, if anything it overinflated the Mexican population. And most of those people were White Spaniards because that’s who got in legally. LULAC even went to court in the ‘30s to have Mexicans declared White so they would have fewer problems being admitted under the 1924 Act.
In any event, after Operation Wetback in 1954, most of them were sent home. The “minority population” you speak of was mostly black people who moved to California during the War to take jobs that were open since the White men had been drafted to fight yet another dimwitted European war.
Anyone can read the old Census data but you weren’t here, you didn’t live it/see it, and I did. Take if from me, foreigner, your fantasy world of Mexican California was just that.
The so-called “Spanish Period” was a short, almost meaningless hiccup in time when a runt population of a few Spaniards - called Mexicans after the Mexican Revolution of 1811 ended, even though they had no such identification themselves - survived in California and not much more. About all they did was spread smallpox and kill off about 150,000 Indians (feather, not dot) that way.
The whole “Spanish California” story was a fabrication of Harrye Forbes, a woman from Pennsylvania who moved to Pasadena and opened a bell company in 1906 to sell her bells. She promoted the BS that the missions were a day’s walk apart, and had been built sequentially, all of which was a hoax. There were at most 7000 Californios in California in 1846 when Commodore Stockton took over Los Angeles which at the time had maybe 300 people. They were grotesquely outnumbered by the Indians, estimated at 300,000. That number was halved by the smallpox epidemic which the Spanish knew would happen: it had been the same in Mexico in 1520. That’s the real way they defeated the Aztecs. Figured they could do it again in El Norte.
