The statement, titled “Statement of Support for Trans and Non-Binary People’s Inclusion and Rights,” called the ruling “harmful,” “transphobic,” and a “victory for the patriarchy.” It calls for inclusive policies in single-sex spaces, rejecting the idea that trans inclusion undermines women’s rights. They declared that trans women are women. So far, 1600 alleged academics have signed it. You don’t get crazier than that.

I believe that we've passed the stage of "decadence". The next step is "decline". Then we will be in "collapse".
I think Trump is an aberration. He'll halt the decline for us for a couple of years (decades?) but we're not going to stop the inevitable.

A quick look at the names on the list shows that the vast majority of signatories are female.

Misleading headline.
The Court didn’t rule that “females are defined by biology”.
They ruled that every time any UK law refers to “men” or “women” that the law must be interpreted in conformity with biology, meaning, there are two and only two sexes, male and female, that one is born as one or the other and that it is invariant.
The decision wasn’t about “how females are defined”, it was about how all humans are defined when a controversy at law involves a law that uses “man” or “woman”.
It is crazy that an appropriate case has not been brought in a US court with the same result.
