Drumbrakeacide !!! That's when You find out just exactly how good one is at adjusting a Drum Brake x 4 !!!

My speed story:
Early 80's and a longtime Friend had a 1970 Chevelle SS 375HP/396CID that had been "tweeked" by Us over the years in High School including Bilstein shocks, BFG Tyres, TH-400 with a B & M Shift Kit upgrade, Cylinder Heads Ported and Polished, Distributor Advanced Kit, Custom Dual Exhaust.

One day We went out of Austin, TX Eastbound on Hwy 290 while trying to catch up with someone who was on the way to Houston and had a headstart on Us. We were going 70 and got on the throttle, I was watching for cops as We were getting into the 100+ range We still had not seen the car We were trying to catch. I watched the speedometer climb past 120 and then I was able to see the car in front of Us. I'm still watching for cops and the car was still very steady feeling as We neared 160 (max on speedometer) and kept going until the needle reached the backside of the Zero Pin where it stopped just as We neared the car We were chasing. That's the fastest I ever went on the street. It was a really nice smooth the whole time.

Funny that Resuski was at Walkers shop and Kevin Blanch was at Menards about that time. Seemed that Mechs spent about 3 seasons at a Shop.

Dr. Richard Bennett

Indianapolis' Indy 500 has been around since 1911. Over the years, it has grown tenfold in terms of popularity, and while new fans are getting involved with each passing event, there is one loyal supporter who has been regularly attending the 200-lap race since 1938. Dr. Richard Bennett was born in 1938, and just six months later, he found himself attending that year's Indy 500 with his parents. Since then, the superfan has not missed even a single event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The upcoming 2025 race will be Bennett's 82nd straight appearance at the event.

I’m going to say that due to the “it’s The Indy 500” factor We pick Our Top 3 of the Drivers/Teams to Win. I will kick it off with:

The 83 Team of Robert Shwartzman just because of the Rookie Pole Winner being the first time on an Oval Track EVER.

The 06 Team of Helio Castroneves because He is going for a 5th Win that We know would be the first time in History.

The 75 Team of Takuma Sato going for Win #3 because He’s been lurking around the front in Practice on Carb Day while not being too obvious about it.
