Kinda sound like ungrateful jackasses to me.

I think it depends on how they view it impacted their careers, and how people most often think of them.
So on the one hand it sounds ungrateful, but on the other hand it does seem like a thing that could potentially bother you, if you see yourself as a different kind of actor - especially the sitcom ones.
I don’t think anyone held a gun to their heads when they went to the bank to deposit checks.
The Brady Bunch was a formulaic, 23 minute saccharine prime-time sitcom. Did Robert Reed not understand this? Did he think he was doing Shakespeare?
He was also a closeted homosexual (and died due to complications of HIV in the early 1990s). I'm guessing this contributed to his narcissism and sense of entitlement.
For real. No one forced them to take the roles. A buncha ingrates.
I have had a couple of jobs I did not like in my career but no one cares and I certainly would not make anything of it.
