leave Nov 11 as Veteran’s Day.
What's wrong with giving veterans a day?
And in what sense was November 11 a victory for the U.S?
World War One was a purely European affair. No evil dictators involved, just competing colonial empires. Had the U.S. not intervened, the war might have ended in stalemate. No Hitler, no WW2, no Soviet expansion or Cold War.
Trump thinks that WW1 is some kind of American victory? How Wilsonian of him.
Make July 20th Moon Landing day.
I love to see June 6th a holiday. Turning point in the Pacific with battle of midway, in 1942 and D day 1944.
???? September 4th is “V-J Day” (WWII) and November 11 is “Armistice/Veterans Day” (WWI).

What about the Pacific War? Doesn’t that count as the end of World War II.
I thought Memorial Day and Veterans Day covered all the bases.
The President is going nuts.
November 11th is there to honor ALL Vets, not just WWI.
I don’t need a Soviet style May 8th to respect those who won WWII.
Cut government spending. Cut my taxes. Get rid of the illegals.
He doesn’t need to spend time on the other stuff.
Japan asks "Am I a potted plant to you?" (Or even a couple of mushrooms?)
