Russian State Media Claims Marco Rubio May Attend Putin's Victory Parade

Russian state media have reported Thursday that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio may attend Moscow's May 9 celebrations in Red Square to commemorate the end of World War Two.
Zvezda, a TV channel of the Russian defense ministry, cited an unnamed diplomatic source that the U.S. might be represented by Rubio at the show piece event for the Kremlin which parades Russian military hardware.
Newsweek has contacted the U.S. State Department and the Kremlin for a response.

A few days ago I asked ChatGPT for a list of foreign leaders expected to attend the May 9 parade.
Attendance is pretty broad.
Presidents of Belarus, Kazahkstan, Tajikistan, Krygistan, Brazil, Hungary. Modi of India said he would attend, but he backed out when Pakistan started shooting. He’s sending a senior defense ministry guy. Turkmenistan, Cuba and Laos, all prez’s coming.
Foreign ministers from China, Serbia, Venezuela.
It listed US as attending with senior foreign ministry personnel. Also, Trump has said at some point that various patriotic orgs like American Legion and VFW may be asked to provide attendees for foreign events, at gov’t expense. GPT mentioned this.
