It seems that way. Now here’s the interesting thing. Marxists are atheists. Islamists are not. So who would win in the final power struggle?
I’d say the Islamists. They are more disciplined, and more ruthless.

It puzzles me as well. Perhaps the elites think they will rule much as a one-eyed man would rule in the land of the blind.
But they have to understand than the revolution will eventually come for them. And then they will meet the same fate as France’s Louis XVI and Russia’s Tsar Nicholas II.
