This has certainly removed Kursk as a pawn in peace negotiations

Idiots invade Russia and think the territory they think they hold is a pawn. Clueless twits don't understand that they made themselves the pawn. The lucky ones got out alive. it's and old old old Mongol tactic. Western Generals were fools...but we knew that already.

the USA and Russia have one major thing in common

they are BOTH at war with EU globalists and neo-marxists.

“Yet in that same address to Ukraine, he hinted at an attack in Moscow on the Victory Day Parade”

Symbolic attack with no military value that would be done only to anger Russia. Classic Ukrainian stupidity if done, but hopefully an empty threat.

Zelenskyy [sic]

Memo it Martin Armstrong:

The correct spelling of the Ukrainian president's last name is Зеленський in Cyrillic script. When transliterated into English, it can be spelled as Zelenskyy, Zelenskiy, or Zelensky, with Zelenskyy being the most commonly used form. The variation in spelling is due to the different ways the Ukrainian alphabet can be represented in the Latin script, reflecting the pronunciation of the name. AI-generated answer. Please verify critical facts.

Zelensky is trying to provoke Russia to create a crisis in Ukraine that widens the war and draws the US and EU forces into Ukraine to fight against Russia.

This is the reason why Ukrainian security guarantees are such a dangerous policy for the US and NATO.

If the Ukraine prevokes Russia into military action, then we are automatically drawn into the conflict by the terms of the security guarantee. The US cannot be held hostage by the instability and irrationality of Zelensky's regime to be obligated to fighting a current or future war in Ukraine.

Ukraine should’ve withdrawn from the region in a “goodwill” gesture as soon as Trump started trying to make peace. Would it have swayed Putin? Probably not, but it would’ve saved the lives of thousands of Ukrainians trying to hold a region that they were never going to hold and give Ukraine some more moral high ground.

“If the Ukraine prevokes Russia into military action,”

Russia has already been in military action for years. Ukraine as already fired missiles at Russia multiple times. Why would responding to this attack change anything?

Soviet Russia ( communism, socialism) died decades ago. The Federation of Russia is a very different country….the EU is today the most socialist “ country” on the planet….the EU is more of a threat to the US than the Russian Federation.

The Russians call WWII The Great Patriotic War and the topic is a very emotional subject for Russians.

A mass casualty attack on Red Square right in the middle the 80th Anniversary Celebration would be a really big thing in a very bad way in Russia and the Russian reaction could be pretty big.

Yes, that’s why I hope Z is making an empty threat.

WWII was horrific for Russia and there are still scars to this day.

The Russian schools teach the history as a heroic and semi mythic event.

Putin was born in the early 1950 and grew up in Stalinist post war Russia.

He had a brother who starved to death in the Nazi siege of Leningrad. He had family members killed during WWII and his father was very severely wounded in the war which was a daily reminder of the consequences of the war.

When Putin talks about Nazis and external threats to Russia, it is a real thing to him and he is dead serious.

If Zelensky’s Ukraine attacked Red Square during the 80th Victory Celebration of the Great Patriotic War with a mass casualty event Putin could react very harshly.
