The more these clowns steer the remnants of the Democrats from the center the more elections they will lose. This is the end of the Democrat party. Even if the refugees formed something new it will take years to gain traction. Of course the radicals will keep digging their hole deeper…all they have is their shovel of global socialism.
I question the poll. On the other hand, the tradition of the Dems is to stay to the far left. Given that the illegal parasites self-deport and the voter rolls get cleaned up, this means that the Dem party will be the minority party for a long time.
Don’t take this lightly. I was among those that laughed at AOC’s green new deal. The green new deal was so stupid, surely no one would agree to that mess. Wrong, Biden got selected and implemented as much of it as he could.
Much of the public has been indoctrinated, this is a real threat.

What worries me is commies like AOC and Bernie using a leftist counterfeit of MAGA populism to sell their socialist agenda.
For instance, they’ll push “free” single-payer healthcare as relief for hard working average Americans. They’ll enact a wealth tax to make sure the “elites” are paying their fair share. Free college so hard working families have the same opportunities as the wealthy. Maybe nationalize industries using patriotic sounding language.
IOW use populism as an opening to smuggle in socialism.
In 2024, Harris resorted to word-salad idiocy because she knew running as her leftist self was not remotely viable. Harris was correct in that assumption; her prolem was that the public didn’t want a dim-witted fake either. But 2024 discredited “mainstream moderation” as a Dem path to power, and drove “moderate Dems” into hiding.
The leftmost Dems with nothing to lose are using the resulting vacuum to enrich and promote themselves to the 25% of the electorate who are radicals. That’s not of itself a viable voting block. But Sanders, AOC, and similar expendables are banking on the 2028 election being a reaction against Trump, and whatever Trump wannabees the Rep’s run. If Socialists win via Trump-weariness, they will claim to have a mandate for radicalism.
About a year hence, Dems will begin to emerge from the provinces, and do the mainstream shuffle.
This as lefty Democrat Gavin Newsom is moving rightward for a run at POTUS in 2028.
He knows his lefty ideals are not popular in “fly-over” country, whose voters he needs to win. He knows elections have tightened up and vote fraud that is legal in California is not across the country (vote harvesting, counting ballots for weeks after the election until the Democrat wins, no vote ID necessary).
He’ll show his true colors if it’s elected (God Forbid) - and you too will be paying north of $5.00/gallon for gas.
