The Bangles was my go-to girl group of that era. Saw them in Hollywood at a small club. Still unknown at the time, they were known as the Bangs. You could tell they were headed for the big time.

Good for her. Cherie was married to Robert Hays of Airplane! fame, but she’s basically bi-sexual. Lita Ford was also in the Runaways and left because she was the only straight one in the group. Joan Jett, another member, is a lefty loon and has had a long running feud with Ted Nugent.
