Terrifying video shows a diver being attacked by a shark as horrified beachgoers watched on helplessly.
The unidentified diver is assumed dead after the attack at a beach in Israel that has been drawing tourists to see the sharks — with one video showing one swimming right up to a child standing in the water.
The attacked diver was heard screaming, “They’re biting me!” before being dragged further out to sea off the city of Hadera on Monday

“We were just walking down to the water when we saw someone flailing in the sea — fighting a shark and trying to get away. The shark lunged at him. It was hard to watch,” he said.
“It was chilling. We literally saw the shark attack him … It could’ve been me.”

Human remains were later discovered nearly 24 hours later on Tuesday after officials shut down the beach and launched a massive search in the area with divers, jetskis, and helicopters...

One video shared by Israeli media before the attack showed a massive shark swimming right up to swimmers in the shallows.
What a huge shark!” the man filming exclaims, as the shark approaches him. “Whoa! He’s coming toward us!”
“Don’t move!” he implores a child standing nearby, who replies: “I’m leaving.”
The man then asks: “What, are you afraid of the sharks?”

QUESTION: What do you call a skindiver in shark-infested waters?
ANSWER: Bait.
Just damn.
And I won’t say anything about them finding his Head & Shoulders on the beach.
Parts are parts
Situational awareness can save lives..
“The funeral of Barak Tzach, who was killed by a shark off the coast of Hadera, will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Yarkon Cemetery, at the Petah Tikva Gate.”
Child has not been educated out of her common sense yet.
And we have idiots all the time, even on this very forum that sharks don't present a threat to us. My default position is that they do, and will act accordingly.
This guy quoted above doesn't seem to get that. But the "child" did.
About 35 years ago, I had an opportunity to converse for several hours with a man who had served on the USS Indianapolis when she was sunk. That conversation, and seeing how it affected him 45 years after the event left a deep impression on me. At one point, he couldn't even speak aloud about it. 45 years after the fact.
No wonder the tyrants are against home schooling.
“Human remains were later discovered...”
I guess it wasn’t Kosher.
Well duh! Of course they're biting you. What did you expect? That's what sharks do. Dummy.
After they’re done biting you, they’ll be masticating you.
Nature.
That’s how they knew Vic Morrow had dandruff. They found HIS head and shoulders in the bushes.
Actually, “don’t move” was good advice. Flailing around would’ve been the wrong thing to do in that exact moment.
The Navy learned of the USS Indianapolis sinking four days later .. what was the ( drunk ? ) Navy brass doing = playing cards ?
Of 1,195 crewmen aboard, about 300 went down with the ship. as the remaining 890 faced death .. survivors were spotted by the crew of a PV-1 Ventura on routine patrol. A U.S. Navy PBY flying boat crew landed to save those in the water.. Only 316 survived.
The blame for failing to notice the missing ship belongs to a junior officer; there was no missing ship report issued after the ship failed to report within 24 hours of its ETA, which would have resulted in a search for the ship.
I’m a certified diver.
If a shark presents even the shallowest threat
I’ll kill it.
I don’t care.
Does anyone have a chart of the IQ of the swimmers still in the water after the shark arrived?
