a single moment caught on video and posted online can define and destroy your entire life.

Horses are dangerous to work with. A veterinian in our town was kicked in the head and killed a few years ago.

I would personally have given the guy the benefit of the doubt.

One of my grandfathers, an Iowa farmer and quite a large man, was somewhat famous locally for once having knocked a horse down with his fist. He was a very nice and mild-tempered guy, but apparently the horse managed to tick him off.

Our daughter was a veterinary technician for a decade and worked with a lot of horses. She worked with a lot of vets and heard enough stories of vets getting kicked, feet stepped on, losing eyes, losing hearing, serious concussions and deaths that she switched to dogs and cats. Then she switched to pet insurance after that which has even fewer risks!
