I haven't eaten meat in 35 years, with the exception of fish. I eat lots of fish. A fair amount of nuts. Eggs only a few times a year. No cheese.

We’re ALL going to die, no matter how deluded we are when it comes to thinking some such lifestyle is more ‘healthy’ for us!
Man is a carnivore. That is how we evolved. Ignore truth at your peril.
Ask a vegan why they pretend to eat animals with their fake meats and watch them explode.
I absolutely detest the new click-baity writing style that has infected journalism. The two missing nutrients, lysine and leucine, are first mentioned in the 17th paragraph. Who, what, when, where, why, how, and to what extent, are not longer part of journalism, not even for politically neutral sciency topics.
They might as well have entitled the piece “Start Slideshow”.
Any diet that requires supplementation is NOT healthy or adequate.
The most sensible comment I ever read on this: The human diet is much improved by small amounts of meat.
Vegans are virtue-signaling idiots. I studied everything about primates and early human evolution while getting my BA in anthropology and I know that every single species of monkey and ape eat whatever insect or animal that they can get their hands on. Veganism is a cult.
Forcing children to be vegans is child abuse.

Vegetables are what food eats.
“Prolonged deficiencies in lysine and leucine can disrupt protein balance, hinder muscle maintenance and affect other vital functions, the researchers warned. These risks could be even greater for vulnerable groups, like elderly vegans.”
mrs. catnipman pointed out that she’s actually never met an “elderly” vegan, and she’s worked professionally with the elderly for decades ...
Know this for years. Watched friends slowly wither away on Vegan diats while they were preaching to me about how healthy is is and that everyone should be vegan.
There is only one positive I have noticed about Vegans though, they do not smell as bad when they sweat. They smell like a salad instead of a human being...
Diet is how these people feel virtuous, consequently they’re not going to listen to talk of amino acids and such.
If God didn’t want us to eat animals,
Why did he make them out of meat?
“Plant based protein”
If it’s not peanut butter, it’s garbage.
God gave us canine teethe is all I need to know.
.......In the study, legumes and their seeds were found to be the top contributors to overall protein and lysine intake.....
Legumes—especially beans—are at the heart of the traditional Orthodox Christian lenten diet.
However, since today is Pascha, meat is on the menu once again!
I use pea protein which is an almost complete protein. Hemp protein supplies the missing amino acids and the what pea protein is low in. Thomas Delauer (you tube) is where I learned this

You can buy his product or DIY. The mix is 80% pea protein to 20% hemp protein. Two diff AI searches say this and 75/25 are the optimum.
