Well said! Amen! MAGA!
Compost it. More advantage to it IMO.
Get some straw and put it down in the chicken yard. They will go nuts. Scratching and all.
“Let em do what they do. They’ll know all by themselves.”
They love a big, fat, juicy Tomato Hornworm! It’s against everything a Gardener believes in, and NO ONE would wish even a SINGLE Tomato Hornworm on their WORST enemy, but I hope I have some to give to my hens this coming season.
They’ll go absolutely NUTS, which will be fun to watch. ;)
“It was simpler, easier then...and cheaper.”
Wasn’t just about everything? I am a huge ‘Cheapskate’ so I know I’ll always get by. But these days things always seem to be much harder than they have to be!
“Daydream Believer was the Billboard #1 hit the month I was born. Eggs cost .42 a dozen. And the 70’s and 80’s rocked, wish life was like it was back then.”
I’m with you! 70’s & 80’s music was awesome. So glad I was born in 1960 so I could fully appreciate it as I grew up.
What’s your opinion on Disco, though? I absolutely LOVED it. Every minute of it! I’m still a, ‘Dancing Queen’ to this day. ;) Some of the most fun/romantic/carefree times of my life were on the dance floor.
I was also into ‘Jazzercise’ if you remember that at all. So. Much. Fun! You felt like you were On Broadway, learning all the ‘steps’ to a particular piece of music - and getting really good exercise at the same time. ;)
Oh ya! They love big fat juicy worms of about any kind.
Funny to watch. One gets one and the whole bunch runs over to see.
In. A. Heartbeat! ;)
🙂👍

You just profoundly proclaimed our entire society in the simplest of words. Chicken Littles. We have allowed ourselves to be improperly identified until we believe it, placed in the pond with others in the same row boat, cut loose to drift until the government wants us and tows us in, and allowed to be stupider by our own gratification and not recognized by our own self indulgence. And we give half our fish we catch to survive to them and it’s never enough. A lot of words that mean we knuckled under foolishly and paid for being trained to do so other than for ourselves.
Cheapskate? We used to call that living within your means and applying oneself to improving your life by recognizing your boundries and working within them. But that took thought and the government doesn’t want you to do that so they think for you...at a cost. And they don’t do that thinking so they are going to try to keep you in the corral. But remember, it is a service you don’t have to pay for except at the ballot box. Good on ya.

Isn’t there something left out here?
* Think it out.
“A dozen Grade A eggs”
* That misses the discrepancies of Grade A Mediums, Large, and Extra Large.
* Before purchase, at the big store, open up the advertised “Large Grade A eighteens” Then compare with the so called same sizes Large Grade A dozens. Observe.
* Are the boxed eighteens actually “Large” or are they in reality mediums?
* We’ve found discrepancies, many. Even demonstrated to store personal. And the yokes, compare at home.
* So the honest “egg” of yesteryears, may fill more that today’s advertised labels.
Less for more.
Oh, easily! Even with my home-raised eggs (well, the Chickens do all of the work!) if I'm giving them away, I keep the largest ones for us and share the others.
But, I'm not charging anything and people keep asking for more, so they're obviously not 'grading' eggs, either, LOL!
I have one of these, and while it's just used for Kitchen Decor, it does still work:
I remember those anti-Disco people. They were a bunch of up-tight, soulless ‘Karens’ before ‘Karens’ were a thing, LOL! :)
