Another remaining question is how much of these “grants” circled their way back to the benefit of the legislators, directly or indirectly. The amount of funding provided over the period cited by Harvard does not happen without the appropriate greasing of certain palms & we all know the universal political lubricant is $$$$$.

It all looks like mis-direction to me. How much of Harvard’s federal funding goes to the widely-supported subjects that Garber lists — Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, diabetes, AI, quantum science and engineering? Clearly a small minority. And how much goes to garbage like, for example, climate alarm? Garber won’t even mention that one, nor will he provide a quantitative breakout of how much federal taxpayer money Harvard sends down that particular rathole.

It's the same with 'disability' - how much goes to that decent blind mother of three and the heroic vet who fought for our freedom and how much goes to sexual weirdos, drug addicts, people who can't control their temper, mentally damaged homeless parasites (who need help not cash for drugs and misery), criminals etc etc etc...? Trust me the 'window dressing people' democrats put forth to get money for their programs looks nothing like the vast majority who collect. Democrat's help thier 'favorite victim groups'. Get real numbers - bypass the corrupt press that props up dementia democrats and other liberal liars.
