Disnet is believed to be reassessing the potential of other live-action movies in the wake of Snow White’s poor performance at the box office.

The film, starring Rachel Zegler as the titular princess and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen, failed to replicate the magic of the 1937 original, grossing just $69 million (£53 million) domestically and $145 million (£111 million) worldwide.

This is against a production budget of $270 million (£203 million), leaving Disney significantly in the red.

Well I guess to the woke Disney executives, they maybe got a clue.

Nathan Lane as Mary Poppins in a reboot has probably been shelved.

The fantastic four also looks rotten.

They are turning Johnny Storm — who is a flawed sexist pig — that’s the point — he’s a flawed person who struggles to be decent — into a pajama boy for Kamala.

This business of live action remakes, just goes to show no there are no new ideas in Hollywood.

I read an article ,,which said that some other live action remakes from Disney have not done as well as they hoped.

Maybe potential audiences just we’re not excited about a live action remake of a cartoon.

And the the cherry on top ,is if you have your star, saying it’s not 1937 anymore, the prince is a stalker, and taking political pot shots at Trump, just creates a smelly cloud around the whole movie.

There were a lot of factors that caused this. All made and not stopped by Disney. The mouse needed to be taken down hard, so its a start.

Well, they seem to have guessed the wrong reason for the flop, getting rid of live action remakes instead of eliminating entitled woke loudmouth actresses from their films.

And Thunderbolts is the next Disney mega flop, followed by a pathetic Fantastic Four with Pedro Pascal as a beta cuck “smartest man in the world” and his girl boss wife and a female Silver Surfer. I heard he was like their 4th choice. How Disney continues to survive after destroying 3 mega franchises is beyond me.

The film, starring Rachel Zegler as the titular princess

I saw a pic from the film, and Zegler didn’t look very titular to me.

Titular princess? Hardly.

Non-titular non-princess more like it.

Nathan Lane as Mary Poppins in a reboot has probably been shelved.

They'll just change the title to "Gary Poppins" in an attempt to keep critics quiet. :)

A large part of DEIsney’s downfall is they openly admit they’re coming for our children. People didn’t appreciate that.

Didn’t they just do a reboot of Mary Poppins a few years ago?

If the actress that played Snow White had kept her big politically correct mouth shut, the movie might have at least broke even. Dissing her very popular costar becuase she was jewish and Israeli was bad Ju ju...errr pardon the pun!

No one messes with my gal...that is Gal Gadot!

She’s the only wonder woman who could beat me up and I’d wear nothing but a,..albeit toothless, smile afterward!

As if the other three live action “Fantastic Four” movies weren’t mediocre enough.

I remember back in 1979 going to see a Disney movie called ‘The Black Hole’. It was a huge flop after they spent unheard of millions to make it at the time.

The “word of mouth “ opinions of people who did go see the movie must not have been good.

Some movies do well with the box office, when family and friends who have gone to see it, tell them it was a great movie, and encourage others to go see it.

Sure seems like the word of mouth on this one was terrible. Nobody was coming out of that movie saying how great it was for their family and friends to go see.
