Good work by @USGSA for inking its first consolidated deal following the President’s Executive Order: Eliminating Waste and Saving Taxpayer Dollars by Consolidating Procurement. With this deal, GSA effectively used government-wide buying leverage to secure a 71% price reduction for Workspace, which will be available to all federal agencies. This will be the first of many bulk discounts as a result of centralized procurement.

Yeah, Ditto.
We don’t need Google knowing every keystroke a Federal bureaucrat or politician makes on their computer.....
But then they probably already pretty much do already.
I am anti-Google in all things.
I probably visit the Google website twice a year, and likely by accident.
It should reside on a separated system for government only.
Like Bill Gate's Indiasoft does today? What can be hacked, will be hacked, so Google should just open publish every bureaucrat keystroke, email, document, spreadsheet, expense report, credit card bill, phone call, meeting, and video conference, for the whole world to examine. AI can scan and organize the deluge. With all its corruption, Fedzilla lost its right to privacy, and should be remade into an open book.
Doge is doing so much good! (And breaking soooo many crooked hearts.)
But Google is not a common carrier.
In general, I don’t like Reddit either. However, they are useful for some things, and the DeGoogle sub is one of them.

Any information on Google is being read by Google. And certain information will be passed on to unfriendly actors.
This is foolish.
😁
[From the article:] "Google will offer Workspace to every federal agency"
[Correct:] "Nothing good will come from this."
