Quick question. How many towns or cities in America are named Lexington? Amazingly, the answer is 25. But the original Lexington, the one the others are named after, is the one in Massachusetts.
It was there (and at the sleepy hamlet of Concord six miles away) where the American Revolution began 250 years ago on April 19, 1775.

Not taught in schools any longer.
I noticed forty years ago that Newspapers and news media ignore the battle of Lexington and Concord on April 18-20, 1775.
I figured it was because too many bad things have happened on those dates in the last 135 years so they want to just push those days aside and not remember them.
Beginning with forced gun confiscation by the British in 1775. The catalyst that started the Revolution.
Hitler birth date.
Massacre of the Branch Davidians at Waco.
Columbine High School Shooting: April 20, 1999
OKC bombing.
All Americans must remember the battles of Lexington and Concord!
Unfortunately, Senator Elizabeth Warren undoubtedly thinks that she is the true heir of Lexington-Concord!
This history should be a must read for every citizen…and shoul be taught starting in kindergarten…💥🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I ordered a 250 anniversary Lexington and Concord t-shirt from Amazon. Supposed to arrive today. I intend to wear it every day this month.
At the Boston Tea Party, the Patriots disguised themselves as Indians...just as she has attempted to do.
LOL! They should have thrown the old bag in Boston Harbor with the other bags.
Captain John Parker’s actual fowling piece that he carried at Lexington that day in 1775. I have a shooting replica just like it. His gun is on display by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

And it was all about gun control and confiscation.
Haw-haw!

I’m a bit dismayed that the 250th isn’t front and center in the news.
One of the Americans wounded at Lexington was a black man, then a slave but later freed...but they probably know too little about Lexington and Concord to be aware of that.
Freedom and America's Free Constitutional Republic are muted in America's lying Leftist media and institutions.
America needs to turn from trysting in man and his gov't to trusting in God and His rule in our lives which brings freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17).
I’m more dismayed about the 250th of the country/Declaration of Independence.
It hasn’t been stated. I’m not seeing big plans publicly announced or anything, as our Bicentennial was leading to 1976.
Me too. I was looking around last year, wondering why no excitement.
Remember all the hoopla for the 400th year of Jamestown?
What happened?! Now a week away, and it's... crickets. 😔
This year Patriot's Day/Boston Marathon falls on Easter Monday, the day of the White House Easter egg roll, so there's that.
The Civil War 150th likewise wasn’t as big a deal as the Centennial.
