Until five weeks ago, Arturo Suarez was a professional singer, performing in the United States as he waited for his asylum claim to be processed.
Originally from Venezuela, he had entered the US through proper, legal channels.
But he is now imprisoned in a notorious jail in El Salvador, sent there by the Trump administration, despite seemingly never having faced trial or committed any crime. The White House claims he is a gang member but has not provided evidence to support this allegation.
His brother, Nelson Suarez, told Sky News he believes his brother's only "crime" is being Venezuelan and having tattoos.

FWIW: Rand Paul says the Bill of Rights is for everyone.
Call me highly skeptical. As an open borders advocate, i/>Reason</i> magazine repeats claims from defense lawyers and sources even though they are often exaggerated or flat wrong when the court record and other information is examined.
Hey, the dude is from Venezuela. That is his homeland.
America is not his homeland. Go back to your homeland, Paco.
Just because Rand Paul says it, doesn’t make it so. How many terrorists and Venezuelan gang members were in this country when the Bill of Rights was written? Does Rand know? He’s not a freaking Constitutional scholar or lawyer. He’s an eye doctor who has managed to fool enough people so that they’ll keep voting him back into office.
The bill of rights applies only to Americans and those here legally.
Everybody else isn’t supposed to be here.
So bill of rights doesn’t apply to them.
FWIW: Rand Paul says the Bill of Rights is for everyone.
He’s full of shitz. Our forefathers wrote it for US. We bled to make it so and have ever since. Come here legally or get the hell out. Rand can GfHS. IMO
Dude has connections to MS-13 and a deportation order since 2019. Those 2 facts are conveniently left out of the MSM narrative.

You are wrong. However those who are being deported under the Aliens and Enemies Act received their due process when Trump proclaimed they were subject to being removed. That was when they should have offered any proof they should not be subject to the order. Even though they still might be subject to normal deportation proceedings.
Think it through if the Bill of Rights did not apply to those deemed members of a predatory incursion there would have been no need for the Alien and Enemies Act to be written. It makes clear authority for deciding who is subject to removal lies with the President not with the courts.
I’m Happy, not Grumpy, and Sleepy. Have a Great Day.
>> You are wrong.
how about citing the sections of the BOR that explicitly grants whatever rights you’re implicitly referencing to those the Constitution deems as illegal aliens?
he believes his brother’s only “crime” is being Venezuelan and having tattoos.
And being here illegally? So maybe not El Salvador...
And no, Rand Paul...the Bill of Rights does not apply to all...it applies to all citizens...
Gang tattoos are a prima facia admission of being a terrorist.
OH BOO HOO, gang tats = gang member!!!
He’s here illegally. My father was deported. He should be deported.
IIRC, asylum seekers are supposed to stop at the first safe country.
They come where the money is - they are financial asylum seekers. No benefits and no citizenship and no rights - see if they still come here.
Where are you reading he has connections to MS13¿
NO one has the right to illegally enter this country.
“FWIW: Rand Paul says the Bill of Rights is for everyone.”
So, when Germany invaded France in 1940 they should have been given full rights under French law??
According to Rand Paul, when someone illegal invades your country they have the right to be armed under the 2nd Amendment. Gee, I guess we ought to just give them a gun at the border.
Actually, SCOTUS decided that issue eons ago. Your rights to due process apply to everyone, regardless of their status.
I am not against deporting people here illegally. But if you are here awaiting a hearing, you should have that documentation on your person. The issue here seems to be that these folks are not given much of a chance to prove their status.
