An ex-con with a lengthy rap sheet was arrested for a brutal assault on a bride-to-be at her bachelorette party in Dallas which left the young woman with a broken nose, three broken teeth and a facial injury.
Trevon Woodards was taken into custody Friday in connection with the March 22 attack on Canada Rinaldi just four weeks before her wedding.
It’s unclear why Woodards, 27, who was recently granted parole and has a lengthy rap sheet, allegedly began punching Rinaldi, also 27 — leaving her unconscious with serious injuries and needing eight stitches on her face, Fox 4 reported.
“‘I just didn’t deserve it,” Rinaldi told WFAA. “It’s just shocking, it’ just hard to believe.”
Police have not publicly discussed a motive for the attack.
“On the night of Saturday, March 22, our beautiful friend was celebrating her bachelorette party — what should have been one of the happiest nights of her life,” her friends wrote in a GoFundMe to help Rinaldi defray some of the $10,000 in medical bills she’s incurred since the incident.

Reading the summary, It was abundantly clear why the gentleman behaved as he did: He was not dead yet.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if some locals corrected that situation once and for all.
I just don’t get the whole bachelorette idea. Seems like they are usually drunk fests with females behaving in very unladylike ways
Young, hip, artsy, musical, vibrant, energetic....code words for distressed, rundown area populated by creative, energetic poor kids who can afford to rent the rundown properties and add lots of creativity and paint. Unfortunately, the messed up inhabitants of the rundown area still live there. Will be moved out when neighborhood becomes ulta-hip. Bride to be got caught on the cusp of the transition. I am sure her and her friends lost most of their kumbuyah innocence after the attack.
