On her show Thursday, SiriusXM’s Megyn Kelly called Republican Texas Rep. Brandon Gill a “stone-cold assassin” after he pressed NPR CEO Katherine Maher over her political bias.
Maher testified before the House Oversight Subcommittee on Wednesday regarding NPR’s government funding as lawmakers work with the Department of Government Efficiency to cut wasteful spending. On “The Megyn Kelly Show,” Kelly said she believed Maher would lose taxpayer funding. She highlighted Gill as her new “favorite” congressman.

These guys are great at talking the talk at their hearings. But when the dust settles nothing will be done, Maher will keep her job and stay as liberal as ever and the government will keep throwing millions of taxpayer dollars at her.
Yep, very frustrating.
Blah blah blah Free Republic band wagon talking points yada yada yada
Or not. You don’t know.
Of course, his aides did all the research. It was very effective, anyway. I wouldn’t compare him to the likes of MTG, though. She can ad lib with razor precision.

I stopped listening to NPR in 2001, (after the World Trade Center attack) but I still watch some PBS programs.

You think there is NO chance of NPR being de-funded?
You need to rewrite your headline, Mr Wasp. Your headline indicates that Megan is the one who “torched” the NPR CEO.
Every Republican since Reagan has talked bout getting rid of PBS/NPR. Never happens.
I watched this yesterday. I was impressed. He reminds me of the Wishmaster (especially the eyes).

Reagan didn’t have DOGE/Elon Musk.
wife is Danielle D’Souza Gill
her father is Dinesh D’Souza
Megan has a new crush.
Reagan is not Trump.
Reagan’s era, while volatile, did not see a total infiltration of a propaganda fueled media complex, such as Trump faces today.
Trump exposes.
It’s up to YOU, the people to demand Congress address these obvious sources of a glaring American version of communist ideology parading as “diversity”.
My sainted aunt objects. ❤️
Wow. Good to know!
Anyone who feels otherwise (and especially the current CEO of NPR) should read the book from the former CEO of NPR, Ken Sterns called “Republican Like Me: How I Left the Liberal Bubble and Learned to Love the Right.”
In his book, he explained how at college, growing up, and at work and at home; he knew no Republicans. He explained that he lived in the “Group Think Bubble” where the only perspective on the world was a liberal perspective.
When he retired, he decided on a road trip to “fly over country.” In his travels he attended backyard BBQ’s, church services, went hunting and fishing with red necks. Up until then he had never touched a firearm. During his trip to “middle America” he learned that most “Republicans” were decent, law abiding, honest, thoughtful and moral people who cared about everyone. This shocked him and he say the “rest” of American through a different lens.
This book should be required reading for all liberals. In fact Gill should send a copy to the current NPR CEO and tell her she needs to read it (unlike the other liberal books she said she read, but during testimony to Congress claimed she had not read). I would also ask her to do a book report and ask her how she is breaking down the liberal barrier at NPR, but tell her that the funding is still gone no matter what she might do. https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/republican-like-me-ken-stern/1126368231
