Ferrari said Thursday it will raise prices by 10% on certain models after April 1 in response to new U.S. auto tariffs, adding up to $50,000 to the price of a typical Ferrari.
The Maranello, Italy-based sports car maker said prices will remain unchanged for all cars imported before April 2. After that, the “commercial terms” for three of its model families — the Ferrari 296, SF90 and Roma — will “remain unchanged,” the company said in a release.
Yet, its more popular models, including the Purosangue SUV, the 12Cilindri and the F80, will get price increases of up to 10%.
For the Purosangue, which starts at about $430,000, that price hike amounts to about $43,000. For the limited edition F80, which starts at more than $3.5 million, the increase will add more than $350,000 to the price tag.

I'm now thinking I'll just have the car shipped from Italy to my Summer villa on the French Riviera to avoid the additional expense.
I'm now asking my fellow FReepers to help me out...should I cancel my order for the Ferrari now and get a refund, or should I go ahead and remit the additional $350K in extortion money?
Well, damn! There goes my next car...........
So instead of $240,000 it’ll be about $260,000.
Damn, that breaks the bank. Maybe next year.

Don’t look at just one part of a system.
“For the limited edition F80, which starts at more than $3.5 million, the increase will add more than $350,000 to the price tag.”
Dang, and I thought the F150 was expensive.
You only go around once. I say get the Kia and buy oceanfront property in Greenland.
That design looks weird to me. Not exactly the more beautiful ones Ferrari has released in the past.
Ship it to France, clearly.
Even with a 25% tariff on imported cars to our Nation, because of the tariffs imposed on American cars , they will still be more expensive in these other country’s. They refuse to be competitive and they can scream all they want about Trump. To bad.
Why not, instead, buy a used 1971 Dodge Colt? It would save you some money.
If you can afford a Ferrari, 10% is chump change.
Like kids say, “seriously?” LOL.
You got me. Better than the BEE.
I just got off the phone with a friend who’s a prince in Dubai. He suggested I trade him the ownership rights for the Ferrari in exchange for an Arabian horse he owns that’s already here in the states.
I was hoping to use this Ferrari as a “chick magnet” here in rural Texas, but I’m now thinking a nice horse might actually be a better option to get the girls who live around here.
This trade could be a win-win.
I’m looking to buy an Acura RDX. Is that close?
F-86 is even more expensive.
$ 9 to 12 million Estimated Current Value
I’m assuming it’s set up like a McLaren with a single, center-seated, driver in front (no passenger seat).
It’s a superior design if racing, but no room for the supermodel vixen in the passenger seat, so what’s the point?
Why not set up a go fund me page and solve it that way?
My neighbor has several Ferraris in Midland, so it can be done in WTX.
But that’s Midland.
I hate having to take the wings off just to drive it to the store.
“Oh, no! ...Anyway” - Anyone who can afford a Ferrari.
