The word “blood” is used 447 times in the Authorized KJV Bible. Blood is never to be ingested.

Genesis 9:4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.

Leviticus 7:26 Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings.

Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Vampirism is a form of Cannibalism, and sucks the very life out of one. The Bible says “The life is in the blood”. Ingestion of blood is forbidden by God.

Noteworthy: Cannibalism is addressed in the Bible, as well.

As for Adrenochrome, it is apparently a substance which is some sort of derivative of Adrenaline, obtained by causing a huge adrenaline dump by stress, pain, or torture, and then extracting the adrenalized blood by draining or killing the victim. Apparently, children are preferred over older humans.

The substance is then drunk or injected, apparently producing a state which is highly prized, sought after, and extremely expensive.

Wired.com is a left wing website. The author tries to smear it as being anti-Semitic, based on medieval stories about Jewish practices. He also calls the adrenochrome tales "dog whistles" to the "far right", the language used by leftists to smear anyone more conservative than Mitt Romney or Paul Ryan. Additionally, he uses the canard, conspiracy theory, a common tactic to smear anybody who dares disagree with the mainstream narrative.

I don't know if there is any truth to the accusations of blood sacrifices. However, a leftist writer who uses the same snarky language used against conservatives on other topics would tend to induce belief in a conclusion opposite to his.
