In a powerful speech, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán reaffirmed Hungary’s role as the last bastion of national sovereignty and Christian identity in Europe, vowing to resist the globalist forces of Brussels, Soros, and the war-driven Western elite.
In a thunderous national address marking the anniversary of Hungary’s historic 1848–49 revolution against the Habsburg Empire, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán delivered a bold and defiant speech that echoed through the streets of Budapest—and across the Western world. Speaking before a massive crowd of patriotic Hungarians, Orbán honored the past while declaring a present-day fight for Hungary’s soul, standing firmly against EU tyranny, globalist subversion, and the weaponization of the war in Ukraine.
“The essence of Hungarian freedom is eternal and timeless,” Orbán said, invoking the spirit of the 1848 revolution. “It has rumbled for centuries at the peak of time and history… Its origin goes back a thousand years, and it will certainly continue for thousands more on its path among the stars.
March 15 is more than a date on the calendar for Hungarians—it is a holy symbol of national defiance, commemorating the day in 1848 when Hungarians rose up against foreign rule and demanded liberty, sovereignty, and self-determination. Orbán masterfully tied that moment in history to Hungary’s current struggle against modern-day imperial forces—namely, the unelected bureaucracy in Brussels, the Soros-funded political apparatus, and the cultural colonization of the West…

Every national leader ought to put the interests of their nation first. But that seems to be rare these days. Hungary, Argentina, United States ... not too many others.
The 20th century Stalinists in the USSR were defeated and the 21st century Trotskyists in Brussels, London and DC filled the global void.
Hungary is a bastion of freedom in Europe. Orban is a patriot’s patriot. The monolith of the EU wants to kill him and will try.
ps
I lived in Europe for a few years when to was just the EEC. The purpose of the EEC was to promote free trade amongst European countries. It was an outstanding success. The EEC morphed into a monolith of government control in the individual affairs of its members. It is now called the European Union, EU. It is not benevolent. It is socialism on steroids and quasi Marxist.

Some people need to assume room temperature in this battle.
I have been to Hungary 2 times, and sang with a Christian singing group in St Matthias church up on the hill. Beautiful place, and love Victor Orban!
Starting with Schwartz Gyorgy.
And progeny
I’m all for Orban and his stance against the EUrocrats. But Hungary joined the EU voluntarily, and they were happy to rake in billions from other EU countries for many years. Let’s not forget both these points.
They could go the Brit way and Hexit, but I think they see that it isn’t turning out for the UK the way many Brits hoped it would.
God bless Viktor Orbán and the Hungarian countrymen patriots!
RE your Brexit comment, the EU certainly hasn’t turned out as hoped, moving as it is ever more into iron-fisted fascist tyranny.
The EU-nuchs are especially not going to like THAT.
Good man, Orbán. Every European country needs someone like him.
Romania tried but the cabal seems to have prevented it.
“Romania tried but the cabal seems to have prevented it.”
You are right. The EU is evil. And dictatorial.
