Prohibition was still going on at the time. Grandpa had been a ridge runner before he met his future bride. After he settled down and became a church going man. Eventually moved north to work for GM. The family would sometimes go back for a reunion and once he showed us the cave where he used to hide his stash but he never would show us his patch. Said that someone else was probably harvesting it now and he did not want us to get hurt.
