In addition to planning for the Senate seats that are scheduled for election in 2026, Republicans and Freepers should be making contingency plans for unanticipated vacancies. We already have two vacancies in the House due to the operations of the Grim Reaper.
The spirit with the scythe could also strike members of the Senate. The ten oldest members of the Senate are:
Republicans:
IA Grassley Age 91
KY McConnell Age 83
ID Risch Age 81
Democrats:
VT Sanders Age 83
IL Durbin Age 80
ME King Age 80
CT Blumenthal Age 79
MA Markey Age 78
OR Myden Age 75
NY Schumer Age 74
(I know that Sanders and King claim to be Independent in order to hoodwink low-information voters, but we know they are Democrats.)
McConnell, Risch, Durbin, and Markey are up for election in 2026 anyway. In addition, the Forces of Good should have contingency plans for the other six seats, just in case.
Sanders and King are liars.
I don’t care if the GOP loses seats.
The Senate GOP is useless.
No one can save us now but ourselves.

The Reps on this list are in good shape to be replaced by a Rep. I think Kentucky got through a law requiring the gov to choose from the party’s list of three.
On the Dem side, VT has a Republican gov, but I don’t know what he would do to replace Sanders. Since Sanders is an independent, he would have no obligation to replace with a democrat visa vie a Kentucky type law.
The rest of the folks on the dem list are in dem controlled states.

While much of what you say is true, we still do not want the Democrats to have any control.
Good young people who honestly support conservative values need to step up and run to replace these RINO Senators, including that snake Linda Graham. when he comes back up for reelection if he doesn't stand down. Like New York, and several New England states, South Carolina has weak sisters in control of the GOPe for their states. That needs to change as well.
We don’t have time. 2028 is going to be crazy.
I don’t trust the feckless GOP to win in 2026. They blew it down ticket in 24. Should have 55 Senate seats and 8 more House seats.
Remember, we went from a 50 plus seat House majority in 1995 to 5 now after 30 years.
Well, the GOPe is not what you said, you said Republicans. Yes, I too want the GOPe t be replaced by Republicans that want to fight, not conspire with the Democrats to keep the criminal enterprise alive & kicking.
That’s a short list of fighters. GOPe is disgusting.
But seriously, 26 could see gains if they focus. The Dems are imploding.
