Will Stewart and Harvey Geh might be smiling for their little double entendre: "A report by the Ukrainian military said: 'All helicopters were destroyed by missile strikes in the enemy's rear'.

So Geh and, if you Will, a new friend.

Reviewing the cited sources: "Kyiv's military said...." "A report by the Ukrainian military said...." "Ukraine's intelligence agency said...." "Ukrainian special forces said...." "On Monday Ukrainian forces said...."

What was missed in the posting of Will Stewart and Harvey Geh is another article, to show the sterling reportage of the Sun UK and these two fellows:

THAT'S GONNA HURT Russian porn star fighting for Putin insists he has ‘balls of steel’ after Ukraine drone shrapnel pierces his privates "The exploded fragments in his testicles were so hot that they saved his life"
Will seems still so young and so Geh.

WIKI

The Mil Mi-8 (Russian: Ми-8, NATO reporting name: Hip) is a medium twin-turbine helicopter, originally designed by the Soviet Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI) in the 1960s and introduced into the Soviet Air Force in 1968. Russian production of the aircraft model still continues as of 2024. In addition to its most common role as a transport helicopter, the Mi-8 is also used as an airborne command post, armed gunship, and reconnaissance platform.

The Mi-8 is the world’s most-produced helicopter, with over 17,000 units used by over 50 countries.

During an official visit to the United States in September 1959, Nikita Khrushchev took a flight in the S-58 presidential helicopter for the first time and was reportedly extremely impressed. On Khrushchev’s return, he ordered the creation of a similar helicopter, which was to be ready for the return visit by the American president, to save face.

Crew: 3 (pilot, copilot, flight engineer)
Capacity: 24 passengers or 12 stretchers and seat for 1 medical attendant or 4,000 kg (8,800 lb) on internal/external hardpoints
Length: 18.4 m (60 ft 4 in)
Height: 5.5 m (18 ft 1 in)
Empty weight: 7,100 kg (15,653 lb)

As the most advanced helicopter in their arsenal, the Ka-52 has been assigned to take on a wide array of targets, including armored vehicles and fortified positions. This heightened level of deployment naturally increases its exposure to Ukrainian air defenses, particularly portable air-defense systems [MANPADS] like Stingers and Iglas, which are extensively used by Ukrainian forces.

Secondly, the Ka-52’s low-altitude operational strategy, while practical for evading radar detection, makes it more susceptible to short-range air defenses and anti-aircraft weapons. Ukrainian forces, reinforced by Western-supplied systems, have adeptly exploited this vulnerability.

HIMARS launchers rely on U.S. intelligence, but their use is thought to have been hampered by Washington's recent suspension of intelligence sharing.

When I saw that HIMARS were used, I recall that the US supplies American operators for HIMAR launchers. So likely Western assets shot down those helicopters. The US was still sharing intel with NATO - if NATO gave this info to Ukraine, information sharing will stop.

It’s odd to see Ukraine losing and dying for no reason at the same time the MSM makes a huge deal over...war. Yes helicopters are shot down, soldiers die, tanks are destroyed. But Ukraine and it’s handlers act like they are the first military to shoot-down. I think it’s because they’ve been losing so long that 4 helicopters must feel like they are winning, when they are still losing. It’s not like Ukrainian troops stopped dying because those helos were shot down. It’s that Zelensky doesn’t care about his soldiers so shooting down Helos is win-win.
