I worked for an emergency door repair service in the year 2000, I got a call to go fix a garage door in a suburb of Memphis Tn.The man who opened the door was a very fit, silver haired guy who looked like a retired executive. He showed me the garage door and stoof by while I repaired it.
I stared making small talk while I work. I asked him what kind of work he did and he told me he was a retired FBI agent. Not only that, he said he was over the entire southeastern division of the FBI.
So I decided to make a joke and I asked him since he was a FBI agent, maybe he could tell me who killed Kennedy.
He looked at me and without missing a beat said, Lyndon Johnson and J. Edgar Hoover had him killed.
I was speechless. I thought, this guy is nuts.
Well I didn't say a whole lot more until I went in his study so he could write me a check. I looked around and his walls were covered with diplomas and pictures of the guy at the FBI academy and with politicians, Lamar Alexander was one.
I said, look I just have to ask you something. He stopped me and said, you don't believe it,do you?
He knew what I was going to say.
He said, do you have time for a cup of coffee? I said, I'll make time. We went into kitchen and he made me a cup of sanka instant coffee and proceeded to tell me the whole story. It took about 30-40 minutes. After I left, I went home and told my wife and forgot about it for 18 years.
Then I saw a thing on YouTube and there was a writer selling a book about Johnson, Hoover and Kennedy.
The guy said exactly what the FBI guy said to me 18 years before. The guy who wrote the book was Roger Stone.
I was totally blown away.
Now, I know some people will say, why would a retired FBI agent tell me, a nobody, these things?
That's a good question, I don't know why he did.
Maybe he felt like getting it off of his chest.
But what I'm saying is the truth.
He went into some details that I don't feel like writing about. That day I lost all confidence in our government.
I can explain it to you. I can’t understand it for you.

OK but where are the tapes? They are historically significant. Where does one go to even read a transcript? We can certainly do it for the Nixon tapes.
In addition, Dallas was under Marcello's jurisdiction, with Jack Ruby reliant on Marcello for permission to operate and for a reliable flow of strippers. Supposedly, Ruby was deeply in debt to Marcello.
Moreover, New Orleans at the time was a center for CIA plots against Castro, with key CIA officers like George Joannides and David Phillips spending time there.
I’ve heard it with my own ears. It’s in a YT video somewhere.
Understood but I can't understand it if I cannot access it to read and/or hear it. Otherwise, it is hearsay at best.

LBJ and Hoover were close friends.
Hoover made up the lies and then LBJ used them.
They were a piece of work.

The evidentiary chain was destroyed at the time. All we have is inference and hearsay.
Pictures taken by members of the public who were very close to JFK at the moment he was shot were confiscated by persons identifying themselves as FBI, and never returned to their owner after promises being given to do so.
There is considerable evidence by people who were present in the room that the autopsy was interfered with. X-rays of Kennedy’s head, and other evidence like tissue samples were stolen. Kennedy’s brain wasn’t present in his skull at the autopsy table.
All evidence collected by the Dallas PD was handed to the FBI at the time, by the direct order of J. Edgar Hoover. It disappeared.
Oswald’s palm print only appeared on the rifle after he was dead. The undertaker who prepared his body for burial let a bunch of men in suits in to the room where he was lying the night before he was buried. After they left, he had to clean ink off Oswald’s fingers and hands. He had already been fingerprinted by the Dallas PD, when he was processed into custody.
But believe what you want. Doesn’t matter to me one way or another.

You are quite likely a very good engineer and may have done well in physics, but some of us experienced in war time scenarios might disagree with you with regards to how a human body reacts when shot.

Thanks a bunch! I just listened to it and did hear LBJ saying what Hoover told him about the shooter and the rifle. Seemed that LBJ wasn't familiar with firearms. Also heard LBJ express concerns about 40 million dead Americans in an hour over if word that Moscow was behind the assassination gets out.

At the beginning of the conversation LBJ mentioned “Mexico”.
He was referring to what we now know were pictures of “Oswald” (who looked nothing like Oswald) at the Cuban Embassy in Mexico. That was a phony baloney CIA scheme (probably devised by Angleton) to frame the Russians.
What we do not know for sure is whether LBJ knew the photo was a phony. Most who study this topic think LBJ knew—but we do not know how that information would have gotten to LBJ.
Remember that the titular head of the CIA (McCone) was a Kennedy appointee and loyalist and totally out of the loop in everything related to the assassination.
So—there had to be back-channels to LBJ.
If we could find out what they were that could be the smoking gun proving LBJ involvement in the assassination planning and coverup.
Also—deeper into the rabbit hole.
One suspect for the “missing link”—the back-channel—is Jack Valenti.
But—we have no proof so far.
