Germany has updated its travel advisory for the United States after several German citizens were detained at the U.S. border. This comes amid a broader crackdown on immigration by the Trump administration.
Germany is now warning its citizens that holding a visa or entry waiver for the U.S. does not guarantee entry into the country. A spokesperson for the German Foreign Ministry stated that Berlin is working to determine whether there has been a possible "change in American immigration policy."

Canadian MP Charlie Angus issued a travel warning against the United States on Thursday in a social media post.
These appear to be new and emerging travel issues for these nations. One would think that similar issues will begin to come up for Americans traveling abroad as immigration restrictions and laws begin to take further effect.

LONDON, March 20 (Reuters) - Britain has in recent weeks revised its advice for citizens travelling to the United States to include a warning that anyone found breaking its entry rules could face arrest or detention.
Since taking office on January 20, U.S. President Donald Trump, opens new tab has announced a number of immigration-related executive orders that focus on stricter border policy, tighter visa vetting procedures and a crackdown on undocumented migrants in the United States.
The foreign office declined to comment on the reason for the revision or confirm when exactly it took place. It said its travel advice was designed to help people make decisions and the advice was constantly kept under review.
Earlier this month, in response to media reports that a woman had been detained for more than 10 days at the border over a possible breach of her visa conditions, the Foreign Office confirmed it was providing support to a British national detained in the United States.
The woman has since returned to Britain, local media reported.
“holding a visa or entry waiver for the U.S. does not guarantee entry”
It never did.
Keep in mind that roughly 120,000 people arrive in the US DAILY from Europe, so if one or two people come here illegally and get detained, one should not be surprised.
And, obviously, one should NEVER trust Western media sob stories, on ANY TOPIC, particularly if they just happen to ‘conveniently’ make Trump look bad.
The bottom line is that there is always a BACK STORY, meaning much more to what is going on than the media chooses to tell us (such as the people stopped are wanted criminals in the US).
People who actually BELIEVE these sob stories (which include many FReepers) are just as bad as the media which perpetrates them.
Especially when the papers are no longer valid.
Good, no krauts. Stay away and get ready to fight your war with Russia. Come back and let us know how well that went...
Amazing, people are so childish nowadays, they have to be told to follow the rules or else...
