In a recording recently released by Billie Sol Estes’ grandson Shane Stevens, it is claimed that LBJ orchestrated a series of murders, including the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, to consolidate his political power. These claims are based on never-before heard audio of Clifton Carter, the former Executive Director of the Democratic National Committee and close associate of LBJ, admitting that LBJ hired Mac Wallace to assassinate JFK.

“Was Oswald a registered Dem?”

He wasn’t registered but he was a strong Democrat as he was a radical left-wing Marxist

As many have said: Qui Bono? Who benefits. Lyndon Johnson had the most to gain, and did gain the most from the Kennedy assassination.

On that basis alone, Johnson was a prime candidate to be investigated. As President, however, and a Democrat, he had all the levers of power to prevent any serious investigation that would come close to him.

Who’s Mac Wallace?

He was LBJ's most trusted "wet operations" guy. He killed one man in broad daylight, in front of witnesses. LBJ spent the trial in a nearby hotel, coordinating matters. When the trial ended, Mac Wallace was found guilty of "murder with mallace." The judge sentenced him to five years in prison, and then immediately suspended the sentence.

He's believed to be behind a string of murders, each of which had the property that the removal of the dead person from the condition of being alive helped LBJ in some important way.

It is believed that his fingerprint and palm print were present in the Texas School Book Depository "sniper's nest."

(Lyndon Johnson had the most to gain, and did gain the most from the Kennedy assassination.)

It’s been said he ducked into the floorboard of the car he was riding in right before the first shot rang out.

I have long thought this simply by asking two basic questions every detective asks in a murder: who benefits and who had motive?

Most to gain:

—LBJ—definitely
—Mob—JFK had declared war on them—dumped Carlos Marcello in the Guatemala jungle—Marcello returns and is caught on a FBI wiretap saying “get that stone out of my shoe”
—Israel—JFK was fanatically anti-proliferation—another term and eight years of Bobby and this could be a nation killer for Israel
—CIA and former CIA—long list—JFK was threatening to break them into a thousand pieces—Bay of Pigs debacle, firing of Dulles and his deputy, JFK had affair with wife of London Chief of Station and killed their marriage, James Angleton working with Israel on bomb in secret etc etc etc...

JFK had a unique ability to make very powerful enemies.

It was a “Murder on the Orient Express” situation.

I forgot to mention J Edgar Hoover.

He and Bobby (his boss) hated each other’s guts and Hoover was using blackmail files to keep his job—but it was an unstable situation.

Exactly—we have too many suspects—all with solid motive.

Most folks who have dug deep into this believe they all participated in one way or another—but the details are definitely up for debate.

You forgot Cuba.

Bobby had had the CIA prepare several assassination attempts against Castro. It’s probable that Castro knew about them.

It was the backers of the failed Bay of Pigs operation that wanted Kennedy dead, more so than Castro.

One more point on the mob motive.

JFK violated a most sacred mob rule—betrayal.

They won Illinois for him and he “rewarded” them by attacking their leaders.

It’s pretty telling that Wallace got off so easy after killing Kinser (who was fooling around with Wallaces wife) in broad daylight with lots of evidence againsst him (5 year sentence which was suspended). His lawyer was LBJs longtime lawyer John Cofer who also represented LBJ when he was elected to the Senate in 1948 amidst charges of voter fraud.

And the beat goes on...

Absolutely. Also his father Joe may have told the Mafia bigs that they'd have inside access to JFK and - by extension - RFK. Instead of helping la Cosa Nostra, they did the opposite: go after then hammer and tongs. They wouldn't listen to anyone who tried to warn them off.
