I like JD, and his coarse language is one of the many ingredients in the ‘24 campaign that made it successful. He is relatable to many people. I supported a construction office for many years, and that is their life, and they’re some of the best and most patriotic people in the world.

I don’t wince at his coarse language, and I won’t — until he takes the Lord’s name in vain. Until then, they’re just words.

On some talk show Vance was saying how he “needs to clean up his language”. But then excuses it with “But that’s how my me-ma (or whatever he calls his grandmother) was and she raised me, so...”

Goes on to say what a good Christian her grandmother was. I have no doubt on that - but one can learn to temper their language. Unless you’re working in the shop alone and bang your hand with a hammer.
