In a recording recently released by Billie Sol Estes’ grandson Shane Stevens, it is claimed that LBJ orchestrated a series of murders, including the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, to consolidate his political power. These claims are based on never-before heard audio of Clifton Carter, the former Executive Director of the Democratic National Committee and close associate of LBJ, admitting that LBJ hired Mac Wallace to assassinate JFK. If true, these allegations suggest not just a betrayal in the 1960s, but a continued legacy of corruption within government agencies that persists today. EVERYTHING you’ve ever read about the assassination requires the “if true” tag. Maybe I should revise my initial statement. The waters can’t be any more muddied. That’s exactly what the CIA wanted.
LBJ, CIA, Israel, Mafia, maybe Cuba. Who else?

There is a book written by Roger Stone with his premise being just that. Of course LBJ killed JFK.
I read quite a bit of Robert Caro’s biography of LBJ. Caro made it quite clear that LBJ was a sleazy, underhanded politician who would do anything for power. It was very obvious that Caro admired him greatly. If LBJ had Kennedy killed (which I consider likely) I don’t even know if people like Caro would care. Great Society is what counts, baby!

LBJ could have directed the CIA to do it, off the record, of course. So both suppositions could be true.
I like the video evidence of JFK’s driver shooting him! A circus like this is just what the CIA wanted.
Yeah, all that is true about LBJ but he’d be a piker compared to what we’ve had lately.

At a minimum, LBJ knew it was going to happen.
There is strong evidence to that effect.
Looks like a cabal killed him before he could damage the power structure. LBJ is possible, he was not a good guy. But, he was too smart to leave behind any clews pointing to him.
It certainly was quite a stretch.

Wow! We used to read all about his antics in the Carlsbad Current Argus newspaper back in 1961-1962!
